Luton Council - 'Luton 2040 - no one in poverty' business consultation

Luton Council is inviting all businesses based in or operating within Luton to take part in a consultation session to discuss their vision for 'Luton 2040 – no one in poverty'.

Since September 2019, Luton Council has been consulting with partners and residents across the town to co-design a shared vision for Luton 2040, built around an ambition that by then no one in Luton will have to live in poverty.

Achieving this ambition has become even more important following the impact of COVID-19 on residents and businesses, and the council has brought forward an initial town-wide vision that will lay the foundations to achieve Luton 2040.

The vision outlines how the council will work to develop a more inclusive economy and reduce inequalities, as well as delivering on wider ambitions to become a child-friendly and carbon neutral town built on fairness and social justice.

To sign-up to take part in one of the virtual consultation sessions, please email the Luton 2040 team (details below) and tell them which of the following sessions you would like to attend:

•          Wednesday 29th July                       10:00am – 11:00am
