Luton BID information event -

Join us on Wednesday, 18th May at the UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA) in St Mary's Road for our one hour Luton BID information event - open to all businesses in Luton town centre.

At this event, which will start at 5pm, you will find out what the BID has achieved, what is planned and be able to meet our directors and ambassadors.

Last chance to vote for your favourite town centre bar

Luton BID is sponsoring the Best Bar None  2016 awards and there are now just two more days to vote for your favourite town centre venue.

The responsible management and operation of licensed premises is key part of keeping Luton town centre safe, attractive and appealing to visitors.  See all the Luton town centre finalists and vote for the People's Choice Award category  HERE
Promote your food and drink business for free

We are placing a two page feature in the Luton on Sunday newspaper to promote food and drink businesses in Luton town centre later this month. This is to showcase our range of superb cafes, pubs, restaurants and bars.

To be a part of this feature - at no cost to your business - we need you to email us up to 100 words about your business and a jpeg photo. The deadline is this Thursday at 5pm please so to benefit from this free publicity p lease email your words and photo to [email protected]

Seeking independent businesses

The BID is keen to run a promotional campaign for independent retailers in Luton town centre this year.  To do this we need your views. 

If you own or run an independent business in Luton town centre and would like to be part of an 'independents' working group or would like to submit suggestions on the sort of support and activities that could support your business (in line with the BID Business plan, please contact us on [email protected]  or give your details to our BID Ambassadors.

Talent Quest 2016 - May and June
This is a search for new performing arts talent for August's Luton Mela.  Heat 1 takes place on 7th May, heat 2 on 12th May, the semi-finals on 23rd and 24th June and the final on 29th July.  Email  [email protected]  or call Furhaad

Luton Live - Saturday, 14th May
Family-friendly street entertainment, organised by Luton BID, is lined up for the second Saturday of every month until October. Get this May date in your diary.
