Tidy Day, Cultural Quarter launch, appeal for BID members, town centre events and much more ... welcome to this week's edition of our Luton BID news.
Tidy Day - Thursday, 30th June

There is still time to sign up for the BID's Tidy Day on June 30th, from 8am to 9.30am. 

Local businesses Boots, Marks & Spencer, Greggs, Tokko, Youthscape, Luton Culture, Clearhead and UKCCA with be joinig the BID team to litter pick and clean. All equipment will be provided and businesses are asked to meet outside Connor's, The Hat Factory, just before 8am.

Street cleaning - name a street

The BID is committed to tackling street cleaning,a priority for resident businesses. So, in addition to our Tidy Day the BID will fund deep cleaning every month, taking a street at a time. This month we will tackle Chapel Street and Stuart Street.

Cultural Quarter launch

We are delighted to be sponsoring and supporting the official launch of Luton's Cultural Quarter.

Starting on Friday 1st July, local restaurants will set up food stalls and on the outdoor stage there will be street performers, live music and dance. A  big screen will broadcast the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and latest blockbuster family films.

Luton BID May 2016 AGM: Board members and the BID team
Become a BID Member

Luton BID Ltd held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May, with all current board members returning for 2016/17.

We are now urging local businesses to get involved.  Membership is open to all businesses located in the Luton BID area which pay the BID levy. Being a BID member will entitle you to attend our next AGM, scheduled for May 2017.
