Luton BID Update - meet our BID Project Manager

Join us at our Luton BID Update on  Thursday 30th March,  9-10.30am in The Hat Factory.

This is the first in a series of new Luton BID Update meetings where you will get to hear about our successful  BID projects, current and  upcoming initiatives and how you can get involved, speak to the Luton BID Project Manager and meet our Ambassadors.

tidy days
Tidy day - come and join us

You are invited to take part in our first Tidy Day of 2017.

The two-hour clean-up will take place on Friday 31st March as part of our wider s treet cleaning programme to improve the appearance and overall feel of the town centre.

Over 30 volunteers from local shops and businesses got involved in the last Luton BID Tidy, collecting 19 bags of litter during the clean-up.

Luton Borough Council will be supporting the event by providing an operative to pick up sharps where necessary and collect the waste at the end of the event.

The timing of the day is as follows:
  • 8.20am - Meet outside The Hat Factory
  • 8.30am - Litter pick
  • 10.30 - Refreshments and networking in Connors CafĂ© Bar
  • 11am - Close

New businesses

Welcome to new businesses who set up in Luton town centre in January and February.

Look out for new tattoo and piercing specialists Adrenalin Park who are based on Park Street, Sweet Spot in The Mall which stocks a range of British and American sweets and treats and PoundWorld Plus on George Street - a new value variety store.


 

All three shops are now open and trading in Luton town centre.
