Green machine on the way

Cigarette butts and chewing gum are set to be blitzed from Luton town centre streets thanks to the BID's powerful new cleaning machine.

Our new Glutton vacuuming machine will be launched at our BID Tidy Day tomorrow.  If you haven't signed up yet but want to get involved please email our BID  manager Fergus:  [email protected] .
Luton Live - highlights from the weekend

Rain didn't stop play at the weekend, with our monthly Luton Live entertainment staged indoors, inside The Mall shopping centre.  A local choir, dance school, circus performer, guitarist and community rock group entertained shoppers.

Our final Luton Live event of 2016 will take place on the first Saturday of October. Christmas entertainment is currently being organised by the BID so we will keep you posted about other key events and line-ups.

Clash of Drums comes to Luton

On Saturday, 17th September Revoluton Arts will present Clash of Drums.

The evening will start with community drumming groups leading a procession from St George's Square through the streets to Wardown Park, where international artists Les Commandos Percu & Deabru Beltzak will battle it out in a Crash of Drums, pyrotechnics and fireworks.
