New crime prevention radio scheme starts in November - sign up
Luton BID is offering to subsidise the hire of new crime prevention radios to any BID levy payer as part of a new scheme.
The new mast and new digital radio system, which will be managed by Luton Business Against Crime (LBAC), will go live from 1st November and the analogue system will no longer work.
Sign up and secure your new radio at a subsidised rate for one year - this offer is first come, first served.
We are funding a host of special Christmas-themed events once again this year, with the aim of increasing footfall in the town centre over the busy festive period.
Lighting up Luton, 26 November
Join characters from the hit children's TV programme 'PAW Patrol', who will be meeting and greeting families from 3pm in the lead up to the official switch-on at 6pm outside Town Hall.
Christmas-themed Luton Live entertainment, 10 and 17 December
There will be street performances from talented musicians and artists at our Christmas-themed Luton Live events.
Vintage Christmas carousel, 16 - 24 December
A spectacular vintage Christmas Carousel will be in St George's Square in the week leading up to Christmas Eve.
Skating Rink, 16 December - 6 January
The popular skating rink in St George's Square last year will be back again.
Golden Ticket
It's the return of our festive 'Golden Ticket' prize draw with £4,000 Luton town centre shopping vouchers awarded to eight lucky winners this Christmas.
Flyer: Our events flyer, with all the events happening in Luton town centre, will be distributed to businesses around the town and delivered to households in November.

Can you help us make short films?
We are seeking to commission a local film making company to produce three short Christmas-themed films.
The short films will be around 30 seconds each and based on all the exciting activities and events happening in Luton town centre this Christmas.
We will use the films on our social media and website streams to promote Luton town centre after the festive period and in the New Year.
