Ebulletin no : 46 24/05/2016

Welcome to this week's edition of our Luton BID news and read all about our new businesses, AGM and business event and how to report crime ...
Thank you for coming

Great to see so many town centre businesses at our BID Information event, which took place last week at the UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA).

Businesses were updated on BID projects, activities, achievements and plans for the year ahead. If you weren't able to come but want to read more about the BID download our Highlights & Achievements 2015 document HERE.

Our AGM took place on the same day and we are delighted to confirm that Gavin O'Brien from creative agency Clearhead remains as our BID Chair, while Marie  Kirbyshaw from Luton Culture continues as Vice Chair.
Check out our window vinyls

Vacant premises across Luton town centre are being brightened up with vinyl cover-ups which have been designed to spruce up unsightly locations whilst also promoting town centre activities

The vinyls, designed and installed by Luton BID, are themed to promote the town cetnre.

If you are a landlord or agent and would like the BID to dress your empty units with window vinyls whilst waiting for new tenants to move in please  get in touch.
Welcome to all our new businesses

Luton BID is delighted to welcome several new businesses to our town centre.

You can now pop along to Café Inn on Manchester Street and we have Blaine's Hair Salon in Guildford Street. In The Mall we have Krispy Kreme, Smiggle and Shakeaway.
Cream's Gelato in Market Hill is pulling in the customers, Toro's has opened in Bute Street and Chapel Street is now home to Gourmet Shack.

Do get in touch if you know of any other new businesses or if you want to meet our BID manager and find out how the BID can help your business thrive.
Please report all crime

The Luton BID board of directors are liasing with Luton Police. We are keen to work together to reduce crime in our town centre and we will keep you informed about discussions and developments.

In the meantime please can you ensure you report all crime by calling 101 or 999 (in emergencies).
