Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Jane Snyder, head of Melchizedek's Treasure, had this insight weeks ago; you can donate to her ministry below; I repent for not sharing it earlier; I'm sharing it now:
" I was talking to the Lord yesterday about our own country, the USA, and asked Him, “What do You see as the USA’s biggest sin?”
He said, "You believe lies."
That left me with many questions. Especially with internet explosions of made-up material, etc. He had a much bigger idea in mind than mine.
He told me that we believe we can do everything ourselves with no need for HIM.... That is the lie He considers the biggest sin in America.
We make our destiny. We do as we please. We make everything happen - without HIM.
We pursue power at all costs. Power is a beast from hell. This needs repentance. God’s way is humility, as Jesus demonstrated. He gave us dominion, yes, but as we walk in the garden with Him.
We must turn to the truth –
WE NEED HIM.
WE DESIRE HIM.
WE FOLLOW HIM.
We were created by and for HIM.
For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16
So, I am repenting today about it, and the more repentance I do, the more I see how pervasive the self-exaltation is in our flesh, our soul, and our spirit all in replacement of Him. Forgive me, Lord.
Now, let us apply this to our country…
I want all of us to repent for our biggest sin, and here is how we can do it together. Join me in agreement prayer. The more agreement, the more God has to work with in answering us. By reading these words aloud, you are connecting with our heavenly Father for the greatest impact.
Lead us; teach us; for you are the God who gives us salvation. We have no hope except in you. Ps. 25:5 Living
- Father, we are sorry for putting our own interests (greed?) before pleasing You. We pray that You give each of us a spirit of humility. We ask that we carefully choose leaders in every area who know You and pray over their decisions. We ask that they not be moved by bribes or deception but conduct their public life the same as their personal life in righteousness. In Jesus’ Name we ask of You.
Help us to put YOU FIRST.
There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough;
look again—it leads straight to hell.
Sure, those people appear to be having a good time,
but all that laughter will end in heartbreak. Proverbs 14: 12,13 Message
- Father, we repent individually for our desires of a life of good times, instead of love for our neighbor and sacrifices with which You are pleased.
- Father, we repent for corporate decisions that increase money and power to those in authority, but leave behind the 90%.
- Father, we repent for all the misspent funds that were to go to those in need.
Help us to put YOU FIRST.
You did not choose Me. I chose you, and I orchestrated all of this so that you would be sent out and bear great and perpetual fruit. As you do this, anything you ask the Father in My name will be done. John 15:16 Voice
- Father, You entrusted to us rulership over the earth, and we repent for all the harm we have caused. We ask Your forgiveness. Please show us ways to do this well to the benefit of all human, animal, and plant life.
- We repent for our harming of the forests, soils, and waterways. Please forgive us and show us the better way.
Help us to put YOU FIRST.
I have not kept Your righteousness to myself, sealed up in the secret places of my heart; instead, I boldly tell others how You save and how loyal You are.
I haven’t been shy to talk about Your love, nor have I been afraid to tell Your truth before the great assembly of Your people.. Ps 40:10 Voice
- Father, we have not openly acknowledged Your ways in our government, our institutions, our corporations, and all categories that the USA has jurisdiction over. We repent, and we ask You to make us BOLD to proclaim Your truth in all the earth. We need Your conviction in our hearts to follow in truth. Amen.

13 ¶ And you, being dead in sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 blotting out the bill of the decrees that was against us, which was contrary to us and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross,
15 and having spoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:13-15 Jubilee
- Lord, we ask You to blot out the sins of our country, and forgive us. …. Just as YOU have done it for us who believe and follow You. Help us, as the United States of America, to put YOU FIRST, as the only way for redemption of our sins.
We honor You with this. "
