Event Date Changes!!! - Due to the standings for football, either LC or Meridian will finish in 3 rd place. The 3 rd place team would play on Tuesday, November 5; therefore we’ve had to move the Friday, November 1 game to Thursday, October 31 to give the student-athletes a chance to physically recover. This is in the best interest of student safety. Moving the football game impacts the LCHS Fall Music Concert (Band/Orchestra/Choir) originally scheduled for Thursday evening, October 31 @ 7:00 pm. After considering different options and the availability of our music students, THE CONCERT HAS BEEN MOVED TO THURSDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 31 @ 9:20 am (during HS chapel in the WFAC).

Updated Events!

Middle School Music Chapel/Assembly  will take place on Thursday, November 7 at 11:00 am in the WFAC. The 7 th  and 8 th  grade band, orchestra and choirs will be performing in a Veterans Day themed assembly. We would be honored to have people attend who have family members currently serving, those who have served and those who would like to say "thank you" to our armed services for the freedoms we have today. Ultimately, everyone is invited as we praise God for those willing to serve and for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, like Jesus did for us, so that we would be able to enjoy the freedoms we have today.

6th Grade Musical  -  “Star Factor”  by Christy Semsen, reminds us all how each of us has different talents and how we are all special in God's eyes!   While attending Camp Heart and Soul, students learn that even when the world says "look out for yourself," we need to rely on each other, and how better life is when we work together. The musical   will be performed in the Worship and Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, November 20 and Friday, November 22, at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm). Limited seating is also available at the matinee performance on Wednesday, November 20 at 12:30 pm. Admission prices are $3.00 for grades 5 and under, $6.00 for grade 6 and over or $5.00 with a canned or non-perishable food item for Project Hope. Proceeds will benefit future 6th grade musicals and the elementary and middle school music programs.
