The inaugural project of the Lynn Wolff Fund -- a special program of the Boston Society of Landscape Architects Fund established in memory of landscape architect Lynn Wolff -- is nearly complete: THANK YOU. We know that Lynn was a colleague, mentor, and friend to so many of you. Your generous contributions have led to the design, construction, and ongoing maintenance of a new herb and cutting garden for the Women's Lunch Place, a day program for homeless women located in Boston's Back Bay. The Women's Lunch Place welcomes approximately 225 women each day.
As many of you know, Lynn volunteered at the Women's Lunch Place. The project combines her commitment to the program and her love of gardens and landscape. Thanks to you, the Lynn Wolff Fund will continue to sponsor refreshing the garden with changing plants and displays three times annually. Our goal is to ensure that it is always beautiful for the women in the program and for those passing by, and useful to Women's Lunch Place.
The garden is on the Newbury Street side of the Church of the Coventry.
We look forward to an opening celebration and garden dedication later this spring, and will send an invitation to all of you in a few weeks.
In the meantime, many thanks to the donors and volunteers for your contributions! Your generosity has created an extraordinary place.
