Many Thanks to the Mississippi Children's Museum

We had another wonderful celebration of National College Savings Month with the Mississippi Children's Museum on September 7. We had so many visitors for our 7th annual $5.29 College Savings Day. We are so grateful to the wonderful team at the Mississippi Children's Museum for all their help and support. In addition to financial literacy activities, pictures with Echo, and lots of discussions with parents about saving for their children's education with MACS and MPACT, College Savings Mississippi also gave out two MACS scholarships. Congratulations to our winners: Sam Stiffler and Atlas Page. They're off to a great start fulfilling their future education goals with Mississippi Affordable College Savings (MACS) accounts.

College Savings Mississippi at Dozens of Benefits Fairs

This time of year, many businesses hold annual benefits fairs to help employees navigate insurance choices and other benefits options. College Savings Mississippi representatives participate in many of these to promote MACS and MPACT accounts and help Mississippians invest in their children's futures. College Savings Mississippi also works with employers across the State to provide their employees with payroll deposit for college savings. About 200 Mississippi employees of all sizes and types offer payroll deposit for college savings now. And we are always looking to add new payroll deposit partners, so if you are an employer or work in human resources for your company, please contact College Savings at 601-359-5255.
