Lyon: Lifelong Leaders and Learners
McCulloch Visits Lyon!
Lyon was excited to host McCulloch students as they visited Lyon on March 27th. Lyon staff and students got to show off what Lyon is all about: family, fun, and learning! Students visiting were able to attend a Leadership Assembly, meet Student Lighthouse Team Members, and learn all about Leadership Teams at Lyon. It was a blast! We can't wait for these students to join the Lyon family next school year!

Calling All Incoming
Kindergarten Students!

If you have a child entering kindergarten in August 2019 we invite you to attend our orientation on May 7th from 6:00-7:30. Parents and students will get the opportunity to meet all kindergarten teachers, learn about the kindergarten curriculum, select their "best fit" student leadership team, and even ride a school bus! Don't miss this fun event!
Lyon MAP Testing Schedule

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) test will be given between April 22-May1 for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at Lyon. There was so much to celebrate at March's Leadership Assembly!

Thank you to the RHS girl's basketball team, along with Coach Flood. They shared how by synergizing they were able to make it to the Final Four!

Lyon Hero of the Month

Congratulations to Miss Christina. She was our Lyon Hero for the month of March! Miss Christina serves Lyon as a paraprofessional. She works hard each day to make sure Lyon students are safe and happy. She has high expectations for all her students and helps each student reach their greatest potential!
