Summer 2022 Edition
Project Highlights
The Christ Hospital Green Twp. Urgent Care
Another beautiful project to brag on a little. This one completed early last year by Clinton Lowen, Cody Moore and Gary Moore.

The sheet vinyl, carpet and base look great and the customer was very pleased.

Great job everyone.
Staying Healthy - Body, Mind & Spirit
Stay hydrated during Summer months
Drink lots of fluids

When temperatures begin to swell, it can be challenging to gauge just how much fluid your body is losing. We all know that our bodies release fluid in the form of sweat when it’s warm out, but if it’s very humid too, it may be hard to notice just how much sweat your body is producing.

The golden rule of hydration is to drink when you’re thirsty. But if you, like many others, find it hard to motivate yourself to drink plain old water, then rest assured. Thankfully, all sorts of drinks are effective at providing your body with fluids, not just water.

Juices, milk, teas and even sodas can all be great hydrators. Though, keep in mind that sodas and juices are often high in sugar, which can pose a different health concern...
M & S Flooring 8th Annual 5K Run/Walk with a Purpose
The M & S Flooring Annual 5k Run/Walk with a Purpose benefits a local non-profit we have partnered with either by volunteering or donating to in the past.

This year's 5k will be run for Shoes 4 the Shoeless and held on Sept. 27th.

We've volunteered with them many times and it was a natural choice to have them be this year's recipient of the donations we will be collecting.

This year we've added something new, in addition to collecting monetary donations, we are holding a sock drive to also give to Shoes 4 the Shoeless.

If you would like to donate socks, we need boys and girls socks for ages 4-12 years old.

You can send socks or monetary donations to us at our office. You can also send us a gift card and we'd be glad to purchase the socks for your.

Thank you!

From the Desk of Mike Webster

Everywhere we look people are picking sides. There have always been opposing views, and differences of opinions, but not like today. I find it difficult to stay in dialogue with someone if our views are too different. Usually, one of us is trying to make a convert of the other. I might suggest this is a widespread problem for many of us in our relationships. I wonder why it has gotten to this state. In the book “The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism” the author, Tim Keller, makes the following observation:

“How does this destruction of social relationships flow from the internal effects of pride? If we get our very identity, our sense of worth, from our political position, then politics is not really about politics, it is about us. Through our cause we are getting a self-worth. That means we must despise and demonize the opposition. If we get our identity from our ethnicity or socioeconomic status, then we must

feel superior to those of other classes and races. If we are profoundly proud of being an openminded, tolerant soul, we will be extremely indignant toward people we think are bigots. If you are a moral person, you will feel very superior to people you think are amoral. And so on…”

I am more comfortable applying this to everyone else, but I realize it applies to me. I have strong values and, what I believe, a strong moral compass. Great! However, if my position causes me to see others in a diminishing view, I am wrong and I need to work on my attitude. Life’s circumstances have formed many of my opinions...
