Happening Tomorrow:

On May 24th, the Planning Commission made a recommendation of approval of the Hitch Ranch Specific Plan Project and the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to the City Council. The City Council will consider the Project at its June 15, 2022 hearing. The public may provide input on the Project at the City Council hearing during the public comment period. The public is typically allowed between 3 and 5 minutes to provide comments to the City Council.

On May 24, 2022, the Moorpark Planning Commission approved a Resolution recommending to the City Council adoption of Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2021-03. The Draft Ordinance for Chain Store Aesthetics on High Street will be presented to City Council on July 6, 2022, at 6:30 PM. The full updated ordinance can be viewed here.
The Workforce Development Board of Ventura County, in collaboration with the Hospital Association of Southern California, is hosting a Virtual Healthcare Job Fair on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. With nearly 100 openings, this virtual job fair will present a valuable opportunity to apply to and get to know five healthcare organizations in our area using a virtual platform. Positions available include, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Assistants, Radiology and Radiology Support, Laboratory (CPTs, CLS/MLTs), Pharmacy (Pharmacists & Techs), and much more!
