Ventura County Announces New Round of $10,000 Grants for Businesses Who Didn't Previously Receive Them

The County of Ventura is launching a fourth COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program for business and non-profit organizations that did not receive a grant during any of the County's previous business grant programs. Applications will be accepted from August 19 through September 2. To be eligible, businesses must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a physical location and operations in Ventura County
  • Must have been in business prior to 2021
  • Must have annual gross revenue between $25,000 and $2.5 million
  • Must not have previously received a County of Ventura COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant (previous recipients are not eligible)
  • Must have a history of compliance with COVID-19 safety standards

If you are eligible, you should start collecting the necessary documents now so you will be ready to apply when the online application window opens. The following documentation will be required:

  • Photo ID
  • Signed and dated IRS Form W-9
  • Tax returns from 2019 or 2020
  • Proof of physical address in Ventura County (typically a Business Registration from the City of Moorpark; call us at 805-517-6243 if you need a copy of yours)
  • If you are a non-profit organization, a copy of your IRS Determination Letter
