OSHA SAFETY TRAINING

GRANT OPPORTUNITY

Greetings!


We are happy to report that the MA State Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA) is once again offering funds, up to $25,000 per business or organization, to conduct safety training for your employees.

 

This is at NO cost to you.


The DIA grant applications will officially be released during the first week of October. However, we don’t need to wait. Let’s get your application started, so that, you will be one of the first applicants to apply. We want you to get early consideration in the application process. 

We anticipate that the funds will be approved at the end of the this year [2023] and we can begin trainings in January of 2024. All trainings will need to be completed between January - June 30, 2024. 


If you are interested we will;

  • Assist you in choosing the safety training topics that are best for your organization .
  • Assist you in the completion and submission of the application which will need to be submitted in October 2023. 
  • Once funds are approved, we will work with you to set up the schedule for training dates from Jan 2024 – June, 30, 2024.
  • We will also assist you in submitting training rosters and invoices to the state.
  • The state pays you and you pay us.

  • Safety for Supervisors and Managers Competent Person Training 
  • How to do facility inspections and Job Hazard Assessments

We have a SHORT WINDOW between now and October 5th to get things ready to apply!


Once applications open in early October. We will contact you to assist in uploading your application.

Step 1: Email us back right away to let us know you are interested.

Step 2: Fill out Pages 8-9 of the attached application, send/ share with us.

Step 3: Schedule a Teams call with us to review training options and fill out the rest of the application: Pages 10-12 together.

Step 4: Gather the necessary documents so you are ready to submit: Certificate of Good Standing, Insurance Certificate.

Step 5: When applications open, we will work with you to upload and submit!

Apply now for your certificate of Good Standing and Unemployment Insurance Certificate 

Applicants must provide a Massachusetts Department of Revenue Certificate of Good Standing that is less than 6 months old at the time of submission. You can obtain a certificate through the Department of Revenue



Please refer any questions you may have to the DOR Certificate Unit at 617-887-6367. A certificate from the Secretary of State’s Office will not be accepted.

Apply for your Good Standing Certificate

Applicants must obtain a certificate of Unemployment Insurance Compliance from the Office of Unemployment Insurance.



The most efficient way to obtain a DUA certificate is to apply online through the Department of Unemployment Assistance.

Self-insured or reimbursable employers can get certificates of compliance from DUA via your UI Online account.
