Caring. Servant-minded. Listener. Disciple of Jesus. Thinker. These are words our students use to describe Mr. Andrew Jamieson, who we affectionately call "Chappy." As a member of the educational team at Madison Academy for 12 years, Chappy invests copious hours into organizing campus ministry activities, counseling students, sponsoring the student association, planning mission and service activities, mentoring family group leaders, working out with the fitness class, and of course, teaching religion courses.

"Chappy makes me feel like I matter," a new student shared recently. "The expectation of having personal quiet time with Jesus has challenged me in a really good way," a Senior reported. Mr. Jamieson's personal and professional goal of seeking Jesus with all his heart and guiding others to do the same comes from Jeremiah 29:13. Thank you Chappy, for inspiring our Seekers, empowering our Scholars, and providing opportunities for our Servants.
Thanks to a gift from donors last year we were able to purchase and wrap two 12-passenger vans. These vans have taken our students all over... from drama outings to sports tournaments, from volunteering at the 403 Center to field trips to the Chamber of Commerce. These vans have been well used and truly loved. Private support is what makes it possible for us to not only transport our students around Middle TN, but also promote our school at the same time. If you want to help support any projects, contact our Director of Development, Taleah Valles-Peters, or 615.892.7743.
A Note from the Business Manager
“Remember that if you make your payment by the 15th of each month you will receive a discount. Thank you for your faithfulness and communication."
"The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10

He is faithful! The mess will be worth the miracle.

MA Students are FIT and FABULOUS!
Madison Academy students are FIT! Last week our student body took the Fitness Gram Assessment during assembly. Forty-five students qualify for the Presidential Fitness award! Yes, 45!! Another 16 students were only one test away from qualifying. Several girls missed it by only ONE push-up. We are so very proud of both the individual and collective growth in fitness and health. Congratulations to these award recipients:

Work Opportunity - ASSIST
Who knew the work-study program could be so rewarding? The ASSIST program builds inter-generational connections and provides opportunities for students and mentors to receive Christ's blessings of service, growth, and friendship… all while helping defray the cost of private education. Students who have participated in this program for more than a decade say that in addition to contributing significant dollars their tuition, they have benefited greatly from the wisdom of a mentor, and learned the value of service, empathy, and discipline.
Our students work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons at the Cumberland Towers. Some students meet with their mentor in their homes on other days. If you are interested in this program, email our coordinator, Mr. Bennie Thompson here .

Download the School Calendar
The  school calendar   is available on our website .
You can subscribe to the Google calendar on your personal devices quite easily. If you look at the calendar you will notice many major events early on in the school year. We want to start the year with plenty of opportunities to get better acquainted with our students and their families, and more importantly, to dedicate our school year, our work, our studies, our lives, to Christ.
