1. The Great Lakes Media Show is Coming to Town

3. Student Awards and Scholarships
As a vital stepping stone into the media industry, the MAB Foundation awarded more than $26,000 in scholarships to broadcasting students last year and recognized young talent across the state at its annual awards luncheon. 4. Thursday Webinars with the MAB begin in January
Mark your calendars to spend "Third Thursdays with the MAB" each month throughout 2018. Michigan's got talent and we want to help you discover it. FCC to Review Ownership Cap
During the FCC Open Meeting on December 14 , the Commissioners voted along the partisan lines to move the agency a step closer to raising or eliminating the 39-percent ownership cap. Read More

BMI Consent Decree Court Decision
The 2nd Circuit released its decision in the Department of Justice's appeal of the Southern District of New York's interpretation of the BMI consent decree related to "fractional licensing."  Read More
