Draws Over 1,100 to Lansing Center
More than 1,100 participants turned out March 6 and 7 at the Lansing Center for the 2018 Great Lakes Media Show. Media professionals, students and vendors packed the sold out exhibit hall, learned from amazing breakout sessions and set attendance records for the Student Broadcast Awards and Broadcast Excellence Awards programs.

Long-Time West Michigan Radio Engineer Honored with MAB's Carl E. Lee Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award
The Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB) presented its most prestigious engineering award during the Great Lakes Media Show on March 7 at the Lansing Center. The 2108 Carl E. Lee Broadcast Engineering Excellence Award was presented to Tom Bosscher, Chief Engineer at WSCG-FM (Grand Rapids Christian Radio).

Hall of Fame/Lifetime Achievement Awards
Nominations are now being taken for the 2018 Michigan Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Awards. This year's honorees will be recognized at the Advocacy Conference & Awards Banquet on August 13 and 14 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Nominations are due by April 27, 2018.
