null We apologize for the incorrect spelling of Glenn Haege's name in the MAB News Briefs sent today, 9/14/17, and wish to correct it. We regret the error and wish to extend our condolences to the family and friends Mr. Haege, who was a strong MAB supporter and a distinguished member of the MAB Hall of Fame.

Public visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 the E. J. Mandziuk & Son Funeral Home, 3801 18 Mile Rd in Sterling Heights ( For those who wish to send a memorial donation, gifts may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity.

DC-Capitol_100 Congressional Help for FMs in Spectrum Repack
According to a report in InsideRadio, Congressmen Bill Flores (R-TX) and Gene Green (D-TX) introduced the Radio Consumer Protection Act ( H.R. 3685). This legislation establishes a dedicated fund to help subsidize FM stations that are broadcasting from 678 television towers which are scheduled to be repacked as a result of the spectrum auction Read more here...

WDIV Hosts "Help 4 Hurricane Relief" Telethon
