MAC will brief members on COVID aid, state budget during July 13 webinar
MAC’s Governmental Affairs Team will brief members on the latest developments in federal and state assistance in combating COVID-19 during a webinar on Monday, July 13.
The briefing will start at 11 a.m. and will include:
• Details on funding from Senate Bill 690
• Details on the FY20 state budget deal, including the impacts on county revenue sharing
• A review of the guidance from the Michigan Department of Treasury on filing for reimbursement via federal funds out of the CARES Act
• A general overview of CARES Act dollars being spent in Michigan
For those members who were not able to register for the July 9 Treasury webinar on COVID aid, you are strongly encouraged to submit questions to Deena Bosworth (
bosworth@micounties.org
) by noon on Friday, July 10 so we can prepare answers for the July 13 event.
Counties and other local units have only until July 17, 2020, to file background information to quality for reimbursements, so participation in this webinar is strongly encouraged by MAC.

This website was created to ensure that Michigan communities have access to the most up-to-date guidance and will be updated frequently with information and resources as they become available.
