AARP Ohio has teamed up with The Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, and the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce to bring you this free, half-day webinar focused on the actions small business owners can take to protect themselves, their business, and their customers from the threats posed by fraud and scams, like business e-mail scams, and ransomware.
 
Experts from the FBI, Ohio Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission,
Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the Better Business Bureau, and a local cyber-security firm will share tips and best practices you can use to keep your business safe.

Upskill Your Workforce Today with TechCred
The next TechCred application period opened Jan. 3, and closes at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31. Businesses with employees who have completed their TechCred training should submit proof of credential completion to receive reimbursement at TechCred.Ohio.Gov.

What's New to TechCred?
Grant agreements will now be incorporated into the online application portal. Training for approved credentials may start on or after the first day of the month immediately following the last application period. Training programs must still be completed in less than 12 months from the award date.
