Connecting YOUR Business to OUR Communities
Notice to Join Our Board of Directors
Dear Members,

We hope this correspondence finds you well.

Please be advised that there are six (6) open seats for the Mayfield Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The election will be complete by the end of the year to allow the Board to select officers at the first Board of Directors meeting in January. A member must be a director to be eligible for an officer position.

Any member who is interested in being considered MUST submit a brief bio and photo by Monday, October 31, 2022. Requirements for a Board Member are that you attend monthly board meetings, participate on at least one committee (Current committees are: Membership, Golf, Scholarship, and Programs), and attend most of our events. This is a two (2) year commitment.

A successful chamber is one that keeps its members involved in chamber business. The vibrancy of our chamber is dependent upon our members.

If this is something that interests you and you can make the time commitment, please send us your info. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Mayfield Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
Special thank you to Mayor Chuck Brunello (Highland Hts), Mayor Brenda Bodnar (Mayfield Village), Mayor Karen Schneider (Gates Mills) and City Council President, Pro Tem, Gayle Teresi (Mayfield Hts) and their city representatives and all members in attendance for joining us for our Annual State of the Cities Luncheon. We are certainly in good hands with our city officials and it was important to hear of all the new developments in our neighboring communities.

Is It Time to Join Forces with Another Business?
As a child of the 80s, I remember the excitement when the Wonder Twins would join forces and utter those magical words “Wonder Twin powers activate!” Sure, there were often comical results but both characters used their strengths to save the day. The same is happening with business these days. We’re seeing a lot of it among big brands, unlikely partnerships to sell additional products or services. Some of them are umbrella situations where the companies are owned by the same parent organization, but others are simply recognizing that to be competitive, they have to offer their customers more.
