New year, new MACS!
Updates on our program expansion
MACS is offering an expanded array of services in addition to warmline consultation, training, and resource and referral assistance. MACS now provides free individualized technical assistance and capacity building to prescribers and their practices across Maryland.

  • Our team of expert addiction consultants support organizations as they implement, expand, and improve their office-based addiction treatment services.
  • MACS provides a broad range of approaches through a blend of onsite and web-based services that can be tailored to the needs of each practice.
  • MACS will be launching Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) in March 2020. Project ECHO helps democratize medical knowledge and develops specialty care capacity in underserved communities.
  • Using a revolutionary model of telementoring, collaborative medical education and care management, Project ECHO empowers front-line primary care professionals to provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
  • Each TeleECHO clinic will offer free continuing education credits.

Half and Half MAT Webinar Waiver Training
January 11, 2020 | 8 am
Free webinar-based waiver training to prescribe buprenorphine. The first half of the training is a 4.25-hour live webcast. The second half of the course is a 3.75-hour computer-based study. Hosted by the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine.
