2021 MACUL September Newsletter

Greetings from the Executive Director

Greetings from Lansing!

The fall months are upon us and and that means Halloween is on the horizon. Fall also brings the onset of the second month of school and that means the return of things that used to be normal for this time of year: our first in person board meeting in 19 months, face-to-face events are scheduled and on the calendar, #MACUL22 items are popping up everyday and we are looking forward to getting cider on the weekends!

I admit that we have an unknown path ahead to get all of our routines back, but I also have hope in and appreciation for all the things being done by all of our members to blend our past routines with our new normal to support students and fellow educators.

MACUL is committed to supporting you anywhere, anytime. I encourage you to check out our fall lineup of virtual events below and as we look forward to six months from now, I encourage you to submit a proposal today to present at #MACUL22. Now is the time to share your story of how you reached your students, how you stayed connected and how you navigated the challenges.

Enjoy the Fall,

Mark Smith

MACUL Executive Director
