Our Mission
To end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota
Our Vision
To provide assistance throughout Minnesota to Veterans and their families who are homeless or experiencing other life crises leading to homelessness
Message from Brian Peterson, Chief Financial Officer
2018 has been a year of transitions for Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans as we have focused on scaling the organization to more efficiently meet the needs of our Veterans. To that end, I am glad to announce that MACV is in the final phases of implementing a Salesforce-based data system for all case management and client data management. This step is one example of many of our efforts as an organization to build capacity and capabilities and improve the quality of our data reporting to inform decisions and services. We firmly believe that always becoming a stronger organization will be essential to our work and achieving our mission to end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota.
We are also introducing many new team members to the organization. Please take a moment to learn about them below and please do not hesitate to reach out to them directly and offer a warm welcome to our community in service to our Veterans.

Comcast Internet Essentials
On August 28 th , Comcast joined MACV on stage at the Dan Patch Park for Military Appreciation Day at the State Fair and shared information on their Internet Essentials program, as well as donated laptop computers to Veterans enrolled into our programs with 6 months of free internet. This will greatly assist our Veterans to perform employment search, apply for jobs online, and help them to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. They also provided an incredible donation of $45,000 to help MACV put computers in our transitional houses. Presenting the laptops to the Veterans are Rico Roman, Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux.
