Rick Davidson receives "SPIRIT OF MAIN STREET" award at retirement ceremony.

Rick Davidson, a dedicated volunteer, community leader, and pastor, was honored with the prestigious Spirit of Main Street Award for his outstanding contributions to the revitalization of our historic Main Street district. The award recognized Rick's exceptional efforts in carrying forward the vision of the Alley Loop project.

Rick led by example, rallying a group of enthusiastic students and others to work on the hottest week of the summer in 2022, laying brick pavers, constructing trash bins, and undertaking various other tasks to beautify the alleyways adjoining Main Street. Rick's unwavering dedication and leadership played a pivotal role in leveraging this opportunity to propel the project forward. Rick was presented with the award at his recent retirement ceremony at La Grange Baptist Church. Thank you, Rick, for all of your hard work and dedication!
