The Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators is working hard to support and facilitate the collaboration of the unique and evolving work of Michigan’s intermediate school districts (ISDs) and the communities they serve. Recently, the MAISA Board acted to support MiSuite, a fully web based HR, finance and payroll system created
MiSuite was created by an ISD web development team and guided by school business officials. This team is currently supporting 44 school districts serving 55,000 students, with 21 more districts and another 55,000 students coming on board this summer. This regional solution is quickly becoming a statewide collaborative project that any ISD can provide to their local districts.
As ISDs lead the project forward, a statewide development team will continually be improving the product and a statewide advisory will be determining additional feature development. By working together as school technology leaders and school business leaders, we can truly achieve more for Michigan schools.
