MANNA FoodBank Operations Update + Your Shared Maintenance Fee Credit

Dear Partner Agencies,

As we work together through this pandemic, you no doubt are noticing as you come on campus that space is getting tight and the chances of a safety mishap around trucks, cars and people in the parking lot are rising. We are now making preparation for even more food to come to us and to that end have had to increase our cold storage with two more refrigerated trailers that will parked on campus. To aid us in safety of all, we are asking you to do the following things:

Beginning immediately:

Do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time. This will keep the number of vehicles down to a minimum.
Only bring the people and vehicles that you need to pick-up.
Please check in at 623 or 627. Once you have told us you are here, please wait in or right outside of your vehicles for us to come out with your order. If it has been 15 minutes since you checked in, please feel free to come in and notify our staff.
Please do not stand out in the middle of the traffic areas as you wait on your order.
If you must walk between buildings for any reason, watch all traffic and be very aware of your surroundings.
Do not stop in the middle of traffic flow areas to load your vehicle, we will ask you to move.
Do not pull into a dock space until you are told to do so if driving box trucks.

Beginning May 26, 2020:

There will be no pick-ups scheduled before 8:30am. Please do not arrive on campus before 8:25 if you have an 8:30 pick-up appointment.
Verify your pick-up times prior to arriving and try and not be on site more that 5 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time, more than 5-10 minutes early and we may have to ask you to park off-site and come back.

SHARED MAINTENANCE FEES CREDIT

APRIL 1 - MAY 12

We continue to hear the challenges that you face as you fight hunger in each of your communities. While each agency has specific needs unique to their operation or community the overwhelming themes are financial resources and additional food. We're excited to announce that through recent generous funding we're able to credit all share maintenance fees from April 1- May 12.

Here's what you need to know to take advantage of these credited shared maintenance fees:

Grants have been established on your accounts in an amount equal to the total shared maintenance fees from April 1- May 12.
On 5/29 these grants will be applied to any open invoices opened after April 1st.
These balances will be reflected on your May statement that is posted on June 1st, with your usual email notification of statement posting
You will use the totals listed on your statement rather than the totals from your previous invoices to determine your total amount owed. This means that you will deduct the grant amount from the total amount owed, paying the difference.
Any used balance from the credited shared maintenance fees will be rolled over to future months until the total credit is used.
We encourage you to use your grant balances before making payments.

LET US KNOW YOUR DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULE

Many communities and county governments are asking us to direct people seeking food resources to the appropriate agency. To that end it is imperative that you communicate your pantry status and any changes to operations with MANNA as frequently as possible.

Have you changed your distribution dates or hours of distribution?
Will you be shifting to a different style of food distribution? (Example: Drive through or pre-boxed food)
Do you need volunteers from the community?

Communicate any and all changes with your Zone Coordinator or our Agency Relations Coordinator or simply reply to this email.
