MAP Growth Testing Day

Wednesday, February 11, 2026

🎯 What Do Teachers Do With MAP Scores?

  • Set goals with students
  • Personalize instruction
  • Identify strengths and areas for growth
  • Communicate progress with families

🎯 How MAP Growth Supports High School Goals

  • Prepares for SAT/ACT: RIT scores connect to college readiness indicators.
  • Identifies Strengths and Gaps: Helps focus learning efforts where they matter most.
  • Supports Individualized Learning Plans: For IEPs, 504s, or intervention programs.
  • Monitors Progress Toward Graduation Goals: Especially in core subjects like Math and Reading.

🏠 How Parents Can Support:

  • Encourage your child to try their best, but don’t stress over the test.
  • Talk about learning goals with your child and teacher.
  • Celebrate growth, not just scores!
