January 2020

Message From President John Mahon
Greetings MARC:

Happy New Year and welcome to a new decade!
Wishing you and your families the best for a happy and healthy 2020 and beyond.

Please remember our MARC family in Puerto Rico and keep them in your prayers after the earthquakes they have endured since our last newsletter.

We are looking forward to an exciting year. While there are many challenges that face our industry today, there are also many opportunities to help our clients and communities. As NAHRO begins a new term, MARC will play an important part of where our national organization and industry goes. In fact, nine (9) members of MARC serve on the NAHRO Board of Governors, so we do have a seat at the table. Please help us take advantage of having MARC’s voices heard.  (See photos below)

MARC should also use this new decade to have 20/20 vision and set its sights on a successful and robust Annual Conference with our partners, NJNAHRO, from May 3-6 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City NJ.

Final agendas and registration will be coming soon, so keep an eye out. We plan on having topic-specific sessions of interest as well as plenary sessions with HUD and industry officials, and a few surprises! NAHRO President Sunny Shaw and CEO Adrianne Todman are scheduled to attend also.

Please make sure you free up those dates and plan on attending.

Remember, MARC is part of national NAHRO and the state Chapters in our region. We have a responsibility to be supportive, be engaged, be NAHROminded!!
