Tuesday, April 23rd from 3:00 - 4:45 pm
at the Regent Theatre in downtown Allegan.

An open house will follow at the Foundation, 113 Locust St., downtown Allegan.

Shy of our 6,000 jar goal, the donations will be distributed
to 2/3 of the individuals and families who will visit a
Allegan County Food Pantry Collaborative member pantry in April.
Because hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation
We will be gearing up for our annual cereal drive April 1 - April 30.

The goal of 30,000 boxes of cereal equals
one box, per week, per child who is eligible for free/reduced lunch in Allegan County!

Drop sites will be announced soon!

The Women’s Education Coalition (WEC) Fund
awards scholarships to unemployed or underemployed women, specifically those who have had a significant break in their education, and whose financial/employment prospects would be improved by returning to school. The WEC was started in 1996, and over the past 25 years has given out over a million dollars to more than 200 women. 
This scholarship is open to women from five counties – Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Barry, Allegan, St. Joseph and Van Buren.
 
Applications are due to Kalamazoo Community Foundation (402 E. Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007) on  May 15, 2019 .

WHAT IS A CLASSROOM MINI-GRANT?
A MINI-GRANT IS A REQUEST TO THE TAG TEAM (Youth Advisory Council to the Foundation) BY TEACHERS IN ALLEGAN COUNTY SCHOOLS TO OFFSET SOME OF THE CLASSROOM EXPENSES THEY CONTRIBUTE PERSONALLY EVERY YEAR. THANK YOU TEACHERS!
 TWENTY $100 MINI GRANTS WILL BE AWARDED.

ANY TEACHER IN ANY ALLEGAN COUNTY SCHOOL!

Many scholarship deadlines are
March 14th so do not delay!

Last year the Allegan County Community Foundation awarded $289,740 in scholarships. There are scholarships available in every school system in
Allegan County.

ACCF also has some special scholarships for skilled trades (up to age 21), late bloomers (age 24+) and even band instrument rental and music camp scholarships.
