Neil P. Shah, MD, PhD was awarded the 2024 Rowley Prize for exceptional lifetime achievements in advancing the understanding of the biology of CML.


Matthew Stachler, MD, PhD received a 2024 Prevent Cancer Foundation Award, courtesy of the Shure Family Charitable Foundation in memory of Max Shure, for a project, “Immune Determinants of Barrett's Esophagus Progression.”


David Quigley, PhD received a 3-year grant from the Department of Defense for a project, "Discovering transcriptional drivers of therapy-resistant metastatic prostate cancer.”


The UCSF MERI Center for Education in Palliative Care was recognized as a finalist in the John A. Hartford Foundation Tipping Point Challenge, Innovation Category.


Samantha Kahn received a 2023 Q4 PRIDE Experience Award in the General Administration category.


The APP Onboarding Committee received a 2023 Q4 PRIDE Experience Award in the Team category.

Mentor a High School Student

The Cure Internship for underrepresented high school juniors is seeking faculty, postdocs, or graduate student mentors this summer. Mentoring teams are encouraged to divide up daily supervision of interns. Postdoc and grad student mentors will receive a $500 stipend. Email Jennifer Seuferer if interested.
