| | Interesting how many ways we can play on the word “March” as opposed to February, which had no other functioning uses that I can think of!!! But we are indeed marching on, and I suspect you will hear a lot of other uses for march this march! We usually march to a faster drummer in March, as we have many more winter visitors, baseball fans, and “I hate the snow” people this month, and our class calendar fills rapidly, so be sure to check out the classes you want to take, the machines you want to try (BERNINA, Grace/Longarm and frame, or Janome) and take advantage of our March Madness Specials while you can. I know, I know…I’m getting carried away with the march euphemisms…just try to bear with me, please. I know it will pass soon! Now, marching forward: | | This week, the classroom is filled with Mastery and Private Retreat events, monthly events like Open Sew (3-9-26) and Open Embroidery (3-10-26). Upcoming this month is Joyce Blowers, back to us from New York, with the QCT classes March 18 and 19, and additional classes March 20 or 21. Because these classes are more hands-on to provide a thorough introduction to the fundamentals of automation with the QCT, Quiltmagine or Quilt Path Fundamentals programs, class sizes are limited. Payment secures your spot in the classes!!! There is a supply list of things for you to bring, but you will be using our shop machines to sew with. You have choices of classes to take ( but the 3-20 and the 3-21 classes are identical, so choose one), so call the shop or Lynn or email us to get more details. Remember that we have out-or-state people attending these classes also, so don’t wait too long to sign and pay. | | Our Harry Potter b79 floor model machine has arrived, and it’s something unique to see and sew on. It has embroidery designs incorporated into the machine that are not otherwise available, a matt black body with gold details, dual feed, 5” color touch screen, a drop in hook system with 7 mm stitch width, and more. Our floor model is in for you to see, and is limited in supply, so don’t delay! We also have a finished Harry Potter Castle display from the OESD software for you to see, as well as additional unique embroidery patterns! Know that I also have in stock the New Mexico panels for you, in case you’re not planning to march on over there. We have our kits available for you, and if you purchased your state panel elsewhere, we’re making up our unique-to-SVQ kit without the panel. This way, you can still make our quilt with the panel you already have! But I really do think that we got lucky and got the BEST PANEL out there, and we added the copper (one of the Arizona 5 C’s) for our quilt kit!
