Dear Equity Yacht and interested fellow Members,

On Thursday, December 8th, we hosted a Townhall to update our Equity Yacht (EY) and boating Members on the progress to-date on restoring our Marina and the path ahead. We had nearly 120 Members in attendance at the Club and over 80 who also joined us by ZOOM for the meeting. The recording of the meeting is available on-line and linked below for anyone who was not able to attend or would like to revisit anything that was covered.

In addition to introducing the professionals we will be working with on this project, we briefly covered the process we have been through getting to where we are today. This week your Marina Committee and Board of Directors will be reviewing and approving contracts to move forward with the work and getting materials ordered so that we can have our Marina fully restored at the earliest possible time.

As we continue to finalize details of our project, we are seeking to collect some additional feedback from our boating Members. We are asking our EY and interested Members to complete a short survey, which is linked just below. While this survey is geared primarily towards our Equity Yacht Members who will be financially responsible for the construction in our Marina, any Member is welcome to fill it out as there are more general questions as well. We recognize the importance of our Marina to our entire Club and to those Equity Social boaters who may rent or be interested in upgrading to an EY Membership in the future.

The results of this survey will be used to help us better understand expectations and concerns of our interested Members. Please complete your survey as soon as possible and no later than Friday, December 16, 2022. The time to complete is (on average) less than 10 minutes.
We recognize that there will be many unanswered questions at this stage in our project. The Marina Committee, along with your Club Staff, is working diligently to refine the plan and associated costs as much as possible. We are particularly focused on bringing clarity to the exact cost, how an assessment will be billed, and how the construction process around the sea walls and slips with lifts will take place.

We will continue to provide updates to our Members as this information becomes available.
