From humble beginnings back in 1972 to our modern state-of-the art facility, Bio-Botanica has evolved into one of today’s largest family-owned and operated manufacturers of high-quality nutritional products. With a passion for healthy living coupled with a powerful interest in plants, Frank D’Amelio Sr. along with wife and business partner, Josephine, turned a vision into a thriving, well-respected company. The second generation of the family continues the legacy today.
Today, the company's 175,000 sq. ft. Hauppauge NY facility houses a food safety certified, Kosher-inspected, NSF certified, Organic Certified manufacturing operation, R&D Lab, QC Dept., Microbiological Lab and Modern Warehousing Complex.
Bio-Botanica houses one of the oldest and most impressive Herbariums in the United States. This priceless resource contains over 800 authenticated herbal plant samples, as they appear in nature, and have been obtained from all corners of the world.
The therapeutic value of a plant lies in its “holistic balance” of components, which Bio-Botanica captures using our pioneering Biochelated extraction technique. We now employ the same holistic principles to our holistically balanced botanical authentication.
Bio-Botanica employs a professional staff of natural product chemists, pharmacognosists, microbiologists, formulation chemists and herbalists. Our broad range manufacturing services include custom extracting, blending, spray drying, vacuum drying and milling, enabling us to deliver high quality products to meet your demands.
Botanical Extracts are what we do. We produce our products in the US and supply globally. Whether you are looking for a new and exciting extract, or a custom extract, we are here to help. The Bio-Botanica team believes in supplying only the best botanical extracts with only the best service and has continuously done so for 50 years.
