JUNIORS — Your Senior Year Is Almost Here!

Before you know it, you’ll be walking into Marshall as the Class of 2027! One of Marshall’s favorite traditions is our seniors showing off their “royalty” status on the very first day of school — and now it’s YOUR turn!

ORDER Your Senior Royalty Shirt TODAY TO GUARANTEE WE HAVE THE SIZE FOR YOU. CHOOSE KING, QUEEN, OR ROYAL.

Shirts will be distributed during the last few days of school, so you can rock them all summer long and be ready for Day 1 of senior year.

Cost: $15

And don’t forget your Senior Lawn Sign! Celebrate this exciting milestone early and let the neighborhood know a Marshall senior lives here!

Summer is the start of your senior memories — don’t miss out on the tradition, the photos, and the fun!

If your student needs assistance with the cost of the t-shirt, please have them contact their school counselor. Counselors work confidentially to ensure every student receives one.

AUDIT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

A volunteer opportunity that helps ensure accountability, trust, and strong financial stewardship for our GCM community.

The GCM PTSA is looking for 2 volunteers to assist with our end-of-year audit. Each year, the PTSA performs an audit to ensure transparency and accountability in our financial processes — because you can never be too transparent!

The audit typically does not take long and is a great way to support the PTSA behind the scenes.

Interested? Please email treasurer@gcmptsa.org.

SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS:

Every Senior Deserves to Celebrate Their Final Year at GCM

Senior year is filled with once-in-a-lifetime memories — graduation, the yearbook, senior events, and celebrating alongside friends. At George C. Marshall High School, we believe every senior deserves to experience these important milestones, regardless of financial circumstances.

The Committee for Supporting Seniors helps ensure that students facing financial hardship can fully participate in all aspects of senior year, including senior dues, yearbooks, and the All-Night Graduation Celebration. Senior expenses can total $250–$300 per student, and for some families, those costs can be overwhelming.

This year, we expect to support more than 80 seniors from the Class of 2026.

Your donation can make a direct and meaningful difference in a student's life. With your support, we can help ensure that no senior misses out on these cherished moments simply because of financial need.

REVEILLE 2026 HAS ARRIVED!

Experience "Polarity" — Marshall's Award-Winning Literary & Art Magazine

We are excited to announce that the 2026 issue of Reveille has arrived! Reveille is Marshall High School's award-winning literary and art magazine. This publication, which is entirely student-led, annually collects submissions from Marshall students, ranging from poetry and short stories to paintings and photographs. Student editors then compile submissions into a magazine that is printed and distributed once a year. Editions from previous years have received extensive praise and numerous awards from the Virginia High School League!

This year's issue, titled "Polarity", is an examination of the contrast between solitude and connection. The editors worked together for months choosing submissions, arranging pieces together, and working with graphic design software to create this year's beautiful edition. Some of the pieces included have been recognized by the national Scholastic Art and Writing awards!

Buy a copy of the magazine for just $10 and help support student artists, writers, musicians, and editors at Marshall! Pay using the MySchoolBucks link provided or through the QR code.

Hello Marshall Parents, Friends, and Community Supporters!

On behalf of Gryphon Robotics, we are excited to share some of our highlights from the past month! At the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, our team had an INCREDIBLE qualification round record of 11 wins and 1 loss, ranking third overall in the Newton Division and serving as the 3rd alliance captain in the division playoffs. We also had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside teams from across the United States, as well as from Israel, Brazil, Mexico, and many other countries around the world.

This season's robot, Solaris, has been the best robot we've ever built. Thanks to its performance, we celebrated several firsts: our first engineering award, first blue banner, and, best of all, first merit-based qualification to the World Championship! As we move into next season, we hope to build on this momentum and look forward to many more successes in the near future.

None of this would have been possible without your support. Thanks to your help, Gryphon Robotics was able to raise an extraordinary $21,466 in the weeks leading up to the World Championship! Because of your generosity, we were able to fully cover our registration and shipping fees, and, most importantly, reduce each student's attendance cost from nearly $2,000 to $850. Your support ensured that every team member could participate in this experience, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

We would also like to extend thanks to our sponsors: the Gene Haas Foundation, BAE Systems, Anthem Engineering, J.A. Green & Company, Polymaker, and FRCTees. And, last but not least, a heartfelt thank you to all the families, friends, volunteers, mentors, and alumni who cheered us on and helped make this season possible.

Thank you again for believing in Gryphon Robotics and helping us reach where we stand now as a team. We can't wait to see what next season brings!
