TASTE OF ITALY: MARSHALL PARENTS WINE TASTING

Sip, savor, and support our seniors — one glass at a time! Italian Wine Tasting Event

Join us for a Wine Tour of Italy on Thursday, March 5th, from 6–8 PM at The Wine Outlet on Church Street in Vienna. For just $20 per ticket, we'll sip our way through a curated selection of Italian wines while enjoying the shop's specialty cheeses and delicious snacks.

A portion of all purchases made that evening will support Marshall's graduation festivities — a wonderful way to celebrate and support our seniors.

It's a relaxed, welcoming evening to connect with fellow Marshall parents, discover new favorites, and enjoy a fun night out. Everyone is welcome — bring a friend and raise a glass with us!

URGENT ACTION NEEDED IF REZONED TO MADISON

Action Needed: Families rezoned to Madison who wish to remain at Marshall.

If your rezoned student wishes to complete their academic path at Marshall and would need transportation, please reach out via the following email ASAP.   MarshallRezoning@gcmptsa.org

Marshall parent Andrea Keller is connecting families whose future at Marshall would be impacted by a lack of transportation. At this time, there is no funding in the 2026-27 Budget planned to provide transportation for our “phased students” who decide to remain at their current school!

Our input and action are needed now, while these decisions are on the table, as the School Board will be making decisions on these issues this Thursday, February 26.  Please join us to ensure that our students’ equal right to access transportation is adequately understood and prioritized by all school board members as they prepare for this vote.

Information and support for engagement will be shared with all who respond. Families who would like to support rezoned families across our county are encouraged to join us! Let's get connected to ensure that all returning students will have equitable access to transportation!

PROM 2026 - TICKET SALE

SENIOR PROM TICKETS ON SALE MARCH 2ND

SENIORS — this is your moment. 🎉

You get first dibs on Prom tickets before we open sales to juniors — and trust me, you don't want to wait.

This year, we're doing dinner with a view.

Prom is happening on a boat, sailing the Potomac with the monuments as your backdrop. Think sunset photos, skyline vibes, dinner, dancing, and a night that actually lives up to the hype.

🗓 April 18

💲 $80 (dinner included)

💳 Pay by cash, check, or MySchoolBucks during all lunch periods

Secure your spot before they’re gone — once juniors get access, it’s fair game.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STUDENTS

Marshall's Unified Basketball Team competed in the state championship in Richmond this weekend. Marshall won the first game against Chantilly and lost the second game by 1 point to the reigning state champion, Fluvanna, bringing home the silver medal. Everyone played hard, showed exemplary sportsmanship, and made new friends. We are so proud of our Marshall athletes!

Congratulations to the Marshall Winterguard Team for another big win at the Atlantic Indoor Association’s Woodgrove Competition in Purcellville on Saturday. Marshall came in first in its division, besting 10 other teams with its program “Human Nature.” This is the team’s second competition victory of the season. Great job, team!

SILENT AUCTION PREVIEW

Don't miss the bids of the year!

Our Silent Auction benefiting the Class of 2026 All Night Grad Celebration goes LIVE March 13 at 5:00 PM and closes March 15 at 7:00 PM — and here's the best part: it's open to everyone, not just the Marshall community! Invite friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers… the more bidders, the more fun.

Here's a preview of what's up for grabs:

Highly sought-after Graduation Box Seats — Graduation Box Seats are premium seating and include five additional tickets, giving your family extra room to celebrate in comfort.

Parking Passes are for the 2026–2027 school year, and trust us — these are gold. Sophomore and junior parents, this one's for you. Parking at Marshall is limited, and passes are not guaranteed for all student drivers. And if next year's winter looks anything like this one, you definitely don't want your student hunting for street parking in snow and ice.

4 Lawn Seats to Yacht Rock at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts — summer night plans? Done.

An original painting by artist Gloria Miotto — a one-of-a-kind piece.

A spirited Virginia Tech basket for Hokie fans.

A football signed by Marcus Freeman of the University of Notre Dame — a must-have for any Irish supporter.

A celebratory yard greeting from Card My Yard.

More exciting items are still to come!
