LOOKING FOR PARENTS

🚨 WE NEED CLASS PARENTS —

YES, YOU! 🚨

Marshall runs on volunteers… and right now, we're running a little short.

Class Parents work with Marshall Administration and the PTSA to help organize, set up, and support school events throughout the year, plus assist with a few key fundraisers. Each class has a handful of traditions and events that help make it happen.

Here is the honest truth: volunteer numbers have dwindled, and too often the same 1–2 parents are carrying the load. When more parents jump in, it's easier, faster, and honestly a lot more fun. Many hands make light work.

We especially need parents of Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen.

If you can help (even a little), please email today and get involved. Marshall students are counting on it! Email VP@GCMPTSA.ORG

Cornell Williams - Director of Student Activities

What's one fun fact students might not know about you? I played both the violin and the saxophone in high school.

What advice would you give to students about making the most of high school? The advice I would give students about making the most of high school is that their time in high school goes fast, so take advantage of as many opportunities offered in high school as possible.

What's one thing you hope students take away from your class or role? I hope students who participate in athletics and activities at Marshall take away the lessons of hard work, resiliency, and grit.

If you could give one piece of advice to Marshall's parents, what would it be? I would tell parents that there are valuable lessons for their students in both success and failure, and that allow their students to navigate both, which build skills for the future.
