MASD Families:  

I hope all of you are doing well and your children are adjusting to the school year.  

It’s been a challenging start to the year. Like school districts across the country, we are struggling to find enough bus drivers to fill all of our routes. This has caused some disruption to our regular routes. In addition, we are also experiencing food supply chain shortages in our cafeterias, which has necessitated menu changes. We sincerely appreciate the support our community has shown us as we work through these issues. 

Despite these challenges, we are so grateful to have our students in school five days a week! Although we’ve only been in school for a few weeks, we already have a lot of great stories to share. From celebrity visits in the drama department to recognition of our local heroes in honor of September 11th, our students and staff have been busy! I hope you’ll take a minute to read through some of the stories linked below.

BON MEADE STUDENTS CELEBRATE HEROES IN HONOR OF SEPT. 11TH
Bon Meade 4th graders in Mrs. McCullough and Mrs. Bell's classes honored our local fire departments' bravery and willingness to help our community as part of paying tribute to the legacy of the men and women who helped on September 11, 2001. Banners were created and delivered to our local Moon and Crescent firefighters. Read More

MAHS CLASS OF 2022 CAP AND GOWN ORDER INFORMATION
Seniors planning to attend this year's commencement ceremony on Friday, June 3rd are required to order their Jostens cap and gowns by October 31st. A quick link has been provided by Jostens to help MAHS seniors/senior parents expedite their orders (cap, gown and tassel only). For $27.10, a senior will receive a cap, gown and a tassel. Read More

School meal programs nationwide are experiencing many of the same supply chain issues that have impacted restaurants and grocery stores throughout the pandemic.
