Eid Al-Adha Mubarak from MASKC!
We hope everyone in Kansas City had a blessed Eid with their families and friends. We would also like to congratulate all the KC community members who were blessed with the journey to Hajj this year. Hajjun mabroor wa sa'yun mashkoor insha'Allah.
MASKC & ICK held a Eid family picnic in October for the community and would like to thank all those who participated! We will include a more-detailed recap in the next edition of this newsletter, which will include events of the month of October.
Mercy Health Free Clinic Continuously Staffing Specialists for the Care You Need!

MHFC continues to open its doors on Saturdays for uninsured members of the KC community, and these specialists allow patients to be able to seek the care they need, Insha'Allah.

MAS Summer Camp Program at ISGKC
Alhamdulillah, the annual "I Love Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)" MAS Summer Camp Program at ISGKC took place from June 10th - July 18th. The students learned Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies, along with basic math skills, art, sports, and went on field trips! Jazakum Allah Khair to Sr. Maisa Jouhari who supervised the program as well as the teachers who dedicated their time to the program and students.
MAS Youth Assist Local Masajid Needs During Taraweeh Prayers in Ramadan
Throughout the month of Ramadan, MAS Youth KC brothers volunteered to assist a couple of local masajid with their needs:
At ISGKC, MAS Youth held separate taraweeh prayers every night in the gymnasium for an average of 60-70 boys of the community, followed by sports activities. This helped in eliminating crowdedness, disruption/noise, and loitering of children during the main taraweeh prayers in the masjid by occupying the children and filling up their time under supervision, Alhamdulillah.
At ICK, on the 27th night of Ramadan, MAS Youth also assisted in serving food and cleaning up during the community iftar, and then assisted in parking control due to the overcrowdedness that night by managing parking lots, directing traffic, transporting brothers and sisters between parking lots, and ensuring that neighbors of the masjid were not disturbed.

MAS Youth Distribute Gifts to Underpriviledged Children in the KC Area for Project: Smile!

Alhamdulillah, with the blessings of Allah and then the generosity of our community, MAS Youth were able to raise money to purchase gifts for underpriviledged children in the Kansas City community area and distribute them for Eid Al-Adha. Pictures will be posted soon on our web site!

MAS Scouts Back in Session
