As we come to the end of another challenging year in which we have continued to work to address the devastating health, economic, and social effects of the pandemic and racial inequality, we know that the work is ongoing and the need is still great. We vow to continue to work statewide and locally in the communities to provide integrated services, to innovate and collaborate, and to respond to the emerging needs.
Although the pandemics continue to exacerbate the challenges people living with low incomes face, we look forward to 2022 with hope, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to the diverse communities and the people we serve.
We are grateful for Community Action Agency leaders and board members who rallied their teams to meet the moment. We are grateful for the dedication, commitment, responsiveness, innovation and professionalism of all of the Community Action staff across the state. We are grateful for our local and statewide community partners and our elected and appointed officials who raised partnership and service to a whole new level, and…we offer a heartfelt thank you to our healthcare workers whose heroism will never be forgotten.
Stay safe and healthy.
Happy Holidays!
