Tips for a Successful Interview
|
|
The impression you make on the interviewer often can outweigh your actual credentials. Your poise, attitude, basic social skills, and ability to communicate are evaluated along with your experience and education.
You and the interviewer must engage in a conversation - a mutual exchange of information and ideas. Only through such a dialogue can you both determine if you, the organization, and the job are well matched. Preparation is the key.

Jay Dunn has joined MAWS as our Accounts Receivable Specialist in our Corporate Office.
Jay Dunn comes to us with a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and an extensive history over the past two decades as a store general manager in the retail industry. His experience leading a team and managing all facets of a large retail store has proven successful in understanding overall business needs while prioritizing customers and providing world-class customer service. Jay’s focus will be working with our branches and developing strong relationships with our customers to better serve them and their needs from an AR and accounting perspective.
While not working, Jay enjoys traveling abroad and has visited places such as Istanbul, Iceland, Dubai, and many many more. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family as he is one of 9 children and has a host of nieces and nephews that keep him busy. Fun fact about Jay, he previously served as an international tennis umpire and is a chemist.
Welcome to the MAWS team, Jay! We are excited to have you on board and working closely with our customers.

We just received this wonderful testimonial from our long-time customer, the City of Virginia Beach that we wanted to share:
"We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the support we receive from Mid-Atlantic on a regular basis. On the numerous occasions that we have relied upon your team for support, we have yet to be met with disappointment."
"Your staff has proven to be knowledgeable, willing to lend a helping hand, and has consistently demonstrated what the true definition of customer service means. We have confidence when purchasing equipment through Mid-Atlantic that the support we receive both during and after will continue to exceed our expectations."
We are thankful for their kind words and our partnership over the years!
