Richard Kanski and his team at the City of Hampton
|
|
Congratulations to Richard Kanski on celebrating your 10-year anniversary at MAWS! Richard was hired 10 yrs ago as a level 2 tech from Agility Fuels, where he worked as a CNG tech. He quickly expanded his knowledge working out of our Chesapeake branch. Within the first 5 years, Richard quickly grew into a level 3 tech and a few years after, he was Chesapeake’s lead guy.
Three years ago, Richard was promoted to Municipal Service Manager, where he currently manages the MAWS operation for the City of Hampton. He is a perfect example of dedication and hard work. He has quickly moved up in the ranks and has become a valuable member of the MAWS management team.
We are excited to see his career grow with MAWS and we wanted to personally thank him for his years of service!

MEET KATHY ROE
We proudly announce the promotion of Kathy Roe from Compactor Dispatcher to Compactor Manager! Kathy was hired as MAWS Compactor Dispatcher in 2016. Over the next few years, she took over the dispatching duties by herself. As the MAWS compactor business grew, branches 3, 6, and 8 took over their own dispatching, leaving Kathy to dispatch for Clinton and Easton, dispatching techs in DC/MD/VA/WV/PA.
Kathy has helped transition the Clinton compactor techs from a service and installation business to a more lucrative service-only business while maintaining our reputation. We're sure that Kathy will continue to provide excellent service in her new role.
