Recital season is here! We are so excited for the 24/7 21^st Annual Recital “Every Day I’m Shufflin’” shows which are fast approaching. Attendance is very important. Encourage your children to practice their dance at home.

Now is the time to make sure your costume, costume pieces, tights, and shoes are all together. Please remember to label everything and that there is NO nail polish, underwear, or earrings on the dancers the day of recital. Make sure you have the proper color tights. This information is on your recital report that you received last month and on your costume label. The correct tights can be purchased at "Footlights" in downtown Frederick or at the Studio (we have a small supply).

The last few weeks of classes are very important for blocking, cleaning, entrances and exits, practicing, etc. The last 2 weeks the classes will be sharing their dances with each other.

RECITAL NEWS

The costume bags are different this year and we hope this will help at recital time. There will be a label on each costume with important information on each label:

·       Dancer Name

·       Class, Day, Time, Teacher

·       Shoes, Tights and Hairstyle required

·       Dress Rehearsal Day and Time

·       Recital Show Day and Time

PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE COSTUME BAGS!

Mark your calendars NOW for recital week! Dress rehearsals and Recitals will be the week of May 30-June 4.

Did you get your TICKETS yet? The remaining tickets are available for purchase as of today with out any limitations.

PROGRESS REPORTS, CLASS RECOMMENDATIONS, FALL SCHEDULE AND PRE-REGISTRATION WEEK ARE COMING

End-of-the-year class progress reports will be handed out soon with the class recommendations for the Fall 2023/2024 dance season as well as the Fall 23/24 schedule.

Pre-Registration Week starts May 15 & runs thru the 20th. This special week is for current families only. You have the opportunity to choose classes before they are open to the public the following week AND you save the registration fee which is a $25-$40 value! We hope you have enjoyed this dance year and will be with us again next season.

Have you or your child ever wanted to try a dance class or a new genre? Want to keep your form up through summer? Then join us for a 5-week summer class season. We would love to have you dance with us this summer. Going on vacation? Make up classes available. Camps available too!

PRIDE is a performing arts company under the direction of 24/7 Dance Studio. Auditions will be held at the studio on the following dates and times:

Elementary Auditions-June 13 from 5-9pm

Middle School Auditions-June 14 from 5-9pm

High School Auditions-June 15 from 5-9pm

Placement in company is by audition only.
