Holden Village Reimbursement Opportunity


If you are taking youth to May Youth Weekend at Holden Village this year, the Children, Youth, and Family committee invites you to request $100 reimbursement towards registration for all youth. Once you complete the form, the information will be forwarded to the synod office for reimbursement. Please use this link: https://forms.gle/PVLYKKX5F9szVkmF7

May SKY Meeting

Sunday, May 4th | 6:00 – 7:30pm

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Everett (215 W Mukilteo Blvd)


May the 4th be with you! 6-12th graders are invited to our SKY gathering on Sunday, May 4th. This event will be from 6-7:30pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and Preschool in Everett and include themed food/drinks, crazy force-filled games, and bible-based conversation- inspired by some of the themes in this classic series. Not a fan of Star Wars? Don’t worry, ALL are welcome and everything will be inclusive, fun, and engaging for anyone of any interest. That being said… if you have a Star Wars costume, please feel free to dress up and embrace it (please leave weapons at home)

Eastside Lutheran Fellowship or ELF is a children, youth, and family focused partnership between eight congregations along the Eastside and Mercer Island. Our group has been working together for almost two years to try and connect the families between our congregations and the greater community. Faith Beyond Youth Group: A Hands-On Workshop for Youth Leaders


Monday, June 2 | 10:00am – 5:00pm

Camp Lutherwood, Bellingham (1185 Roy Rd)

This interactive workshop is based on FYI’s newest research and packed with real tools to help your students grow lasting faith. Expect discussion, reflection, action planning, and a little inspiration from the trees


What to Expect:

This practical, research-based workshop will equip you to lead students toward a lifelong faith—beyond youth group hours. You’ll leave with tools and ideas you can use immediately to:

  • Cultivate trust and transformation
  • Model faith that grows with students
  • Practice faith in community
  • Tackle real challenges facing youth today


Overnight options available at Lutherwood!

Fall Children and Youth Leader Retreat

October 9 - 11, 2025

After a hiatus, the Children and Youth Leader Retreat is returning!


We’ll gather beginning Thursday evening with fellowship and devotions. Friday will be learning and building relationships for collaboration. Saturday, we’ll have more learning and end mid-afternoon. We are starting to plan for the 2025 Fall Retreat and want to include you.


We are looking for both adult and high school youth leaders to help coordinate and plan our wonderful weekend. Whether you have gifts for coordinating large group games or small group discussions, we want you. We are currently looking at forming teams around: hospitality, communication, curriculum/small groups, large group sessions, games/activities, and worship. If you or a member in your congregation is interested in being a part of this wonderful leadership team, please contact Doug Johnson (doug@salc.church). We hope to have our first meeting in May.
