NCC Introduces Two New Board Members

New Century Careers is proud to announce the addition of two new manufacturing professionals to the NCC board of directors, Hayden Jennison, Jennsion Corporation, and Bryan Powell, Accrotool. Both will serve a 5-year term and serve to provide expert insight into maintaining current programming, and in the strategic development of new programs and services. Hayden is currently the Production Manager at Jennison Corporation, and is also the chair of the Occupational Advisory Committee for Brashear High School's Machine Technology program. Bryan is the Human Resources Manager for Accrotool and is also the current team leader of the National Tooling and Machining Association's (NTMA), Cleveland, OH, Workforce Development Team. We welcome these individuals to our board and look forward to their future contributions to our organization and our industry!

NCC Board Elects Two New Officers

The NCC board of directors is pleased to announce the election of two of their fellow members to become officers. Braun Thompson has been elected to become the Vice Chair, and Sandy Madden will become the board's Secretary. Braun is with PPG Industries and is the Director, Compliance Assurance, while Sandy is employed with Keller Williams Exclusive Pittsburgh as a REALTOR and as the Operations Manager for MacIntosh Management, LP. They join the current Chair, Greg Chambers and Treasurer, John Dransart. Congratulations to Braun and Sandy!

Two Journeys, One Destination: Success Through M2K

This month, we’re highlighting two recent graduates of the MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) program— Max V. and Jackson C.—who came from different career backgrounds but found the same opportunity through hands-on training and support at New Century Careers.

Success Story: Max V. -

Made to Machine

Max V. joined New Century Careers’ MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) program in February 2025 after discovering it through a simple Google search. Having enrolled in college straight out of high school for mechanical engineering, Max expected a more hands-on learning experience. When that wasn’t the case, he began exploring other paths that would let him work more directly with machines.

Success Story: Jackson C. - Shifting Gears

Jackson C. joined the MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) program in December 2024 after learning about it from his significant other. A visit to the facility was all it took for him to commit—he saw the potential the program offered and decided to make a change.
