Developing a PRAYER, CARE & SHARE the Gospel Evangelism Strategy for Your Local Church
Easter Sunday has come and gone, *“Fill the Tank Baptism Day – April 12” has also passed but our need to “Adopt a Neighborhood” near our churches and Pray for, Care for and the Share the Gospel with our neighbors continues to be a great need and our Great Commission calling!

What is the mission and purpose of your church?
Acts 1:8 says ….”You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and You shall be My Witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth.”
Being “witnesses for Jesus” is one our main purposes as a church! Please see the above link for ideas of how you can mobilize your church members to “pray for FRANS- Friends, Relatives, Associates & Neighbors, care for them and share the gospel with them and ultimately make disciples and fulfill our “great commission purpose” from Matthew 28:18-20!
I encourage you as a church to live out your “mission statement”, develop a “personal mission statement” and a “family mission statement”.
My personal mission statement is “to know Christ personally and make Him known publically.”
My family mission statement was developed in March 2000 with the words of an 8,6, & 5 year old and remains on our refrigerator to this day.
“The Purpose of Our Family is:
To love and serve God forever, to love and serve each other,
to pray for and care for others and to tell them about Jesus.”
I hope this will be the heart of you church and family as well.
