A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO
ARTURO SOSA!
A very well-deserved shout out goes to
Arturo Sosa, who has been with TRG for over seven years and has not missed a day since!
When asking Arturo about his success of not losing any time from work, he made the following comments:
- He sets 2 alarms every day and leaves his house with enough time to ensure that he arrives before the workday starts.
- He checks the weather far in advance to ensure if bad weather was happening that he would allow enough time to make it to work on time.
- He takes great pride in being responsible and has great pride in coming to work every day. There are times that he may feel tired; however, he also knows that people are counting on him to come to work.
| |
THANK YOU, ARTURO, FOR YOUR COMMITMENT TO TRG! | |

SHOUT OUT
FROM NJ TO GEORGIA!
Rich Hennigan, Permanent Engineering/ Production Manager in Marlton, NJ wanted to give a shout out to Geovanni Villa, Designer at Dalton Box in Georgia.
Geovanni demonstrated how Dalton Box is utilizing a Smartsheet program during their
March 2023 DIG meeting.
(Design Innovation & Graphics)
The program is used as a project management tool to obtain pricing from multiple vendors.
Geo was also responsible for helping the Mid-Atlantic facility with the initial set up.
MAP has been utilizing the program for project management and quoting.
| |
"I was impressed by what Geo and his team members have done with the basic program, it's fantastic.
I'm excited about the possibilities for my department.
We hope to implement a derivative of the same program and use it in a similar fashion to add autonomy to quoting, cost sheet populating and scheduling/project management to name a few.
It's awesome when we can locate and see what people are doing in our company and share things like this.
Everyone can benefit from it." - Rich

SHILLINGTON BOX PARTICIPATED IN THEIR ANNUAL H.E.R.O.E.S CARE EVENT FOR THE 10th YEAR IN A ROW
Our Shillington Box Team donates boxes to H.E.R.O.E.S. Care on a regular basis to help with their distribution of goods to military families.
This March, a group of the Shillington team members also volunteered their time to pass out supplies at their grand opening of Mission Depot.
Mission Depot supports Active/Guard/Reserve/ Veteran and Surviving Spouses by providing shoes, coats, food, and miscellaneous goods.
Additional resources are also provided, such as financial assistance and veteran benefits to the military families.
THANK YOU, SHILLINGTON BOX!
We are so proud of your team and their community efforts to give back to those who serve.

BRING YOUR CHILD TO WORK 2023
WAS FULL OF FUN FESTIVITIES!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED THEIR PHOTOS AND STORIES.

DALTON BOX, GA
"We tested the kids “creative side” by giving them a blank canvas to paint/color. The one with the best caterpillar would win a spot on our wall. All the kids were very competitive. So much so that the majority decided they wanted to take their caterpillars home!
The second activity we had lined up was more of an assembly build. We cut out flat pieces and told them they needed to build a castle. I gave them weights, glue, two sided tape and all the time they needed. The way they built the first round was hilarious. The second round I actually gave them an illustration to use as reference. After they saw the end goal they were able to finish the challenge. They kept the castle for their pets or so they said.
They also went on a tour of the production area."

"We had five participants who all were in school and ranged from 8 years old to 18 years old (senior in high school).
They shadowed certain positions which included Production Supervisor, Plant Manager, Die Mounter, Stacker, Customer Service Manager, and other office positions.
Each child received a TRG swag bag filled with other TRG items at the end of the day.
All enjoyed it very much including the adults!
We plan to participate again next year with even more participants!"

"We gave our visitors the true POP Retail Display Design Experience!
It started off with the boys hosting their own Q&A sessions by interviewing team members in all departments. They captured some pretty impressive video footage!
Account Manager, Kelli Connolly then kicked off a full project review. She shared how it all begins with the customer request.
I provided the full details of how a project runs through the design department...
How CADs are created in Artios.
How I send and cut files on our cutting table.
How we build and test the display with product.
How we make a printed sample with artwork we have created.
We finished up with testing their knowledge on what they learned with our own Q&A session.
A team lunch was provided and of course some games were played!"
- Tim Turner

"Bring your child to work day, a day that gives our children a taste of adulthood, and our adults a taste of childhood."
Christine Ungurean
| | | |
MID-ATLANTIC, PA
"This was a special event. All hands on! Parents, leadership, team members and of course, the children. Our day began with a ‘meet and greet’, a ‘kid friendly’ safety training, and Pin the PPE on the Corrugated Person (courtesy of staff ‘volunteers’).
Our Logistics Manager, Tim Boyle stole the show with his mesmerizing forklift demo, interactive tractor trailer training, and a photo shoot. The fun continued with a craft station sponsored by our design team – enjoyed by all ages. Field day staged on the front lawn with cornhole, soccer, & life sized connect four kept everyone engaged between activities.
The children went home with a Royal Group gift box along with other fun items that captured the memory of the day. When Mr. Softie rolled up with the music on, the day was complete."
- Christine Ungurean
