Reaching Our World For Christ
From Your Associational Mission Strategist
I want to thank those who gave money towards the new windows for the Chapel at our camp. They have been installed and not only do they look great, but they will help with the insulation in a great way! There were churches and individuals who gave toward this effort and we are grateful for the gifts. We continue to make improvements on the camp, and we have several goals for the years ahead to make this a better camp for churches to use for spiritual retreats and fellowships. We are going to have a work day on May 4th at 9:00 a.m. and we would love for those who are able to come out and help us get the camp ready for the season. There will be many projects and we will need a lot of help! We also would like to encourage those who would still like to give a love offering to the camp so that we will have money for camp scholarships. I am thankful that we have many churches who support this camp and I want you to know that this camp would not exist if it weren’t for our churches giving of their finances, service, and prayers. I can’t wait to see what God does this summer in the many lives that will be impacted by our camps!

During the third week of this month there will be a special time of prayer for our Association. We will be sending out prayer guides for our churches to use as we bring a special emphasis to the work of the association. The association is very important and still relevant today as we are able to cooperate together to reach more people with the Gospel. The first association was formed over 300 years ago by a group of churches who realized they could do more together than they could by themselves. This is still true today and I am grateful especially for our association! I would like to encourage all of you to spend time praying for our association and ask God to continue to bless us as we work together in fulfilling the Great Commission!
